Cultural activities and Third Mission

In addition to supporting research and teaching, the Humanities Libraries carry out cultural initiatives as part of the Third Mission of the University in order to foster the cultural and social growth of the territory.

The Libraries are open to all citizens who can freely consult more than 1 million and 200 thousand paper documents (corresponding to 36 kilometers of shelves!), 58 databases and specialized online resources. Among all the locations, 1,017 reading stations are available to the public.

The main Third Mission activities carried out by the Libraries are listed in the menu on the right.
