Disciplinary resources

There are many bibliographic resources relating to a discipline, more or less vast, or a topic, more or less detailed. In addition to the traditional paper ones (monographs, magazines, contributions to collections, miscellanies, conference proceedings), there are in fact resources on other supports (CD ROMs, microfilms and microfiches), but they can always be consulted on site, that is, in the library. And still other resources, in electronic format (websites, databases, ebooks, electronic periodicals), accessible remotely.

In the pages of every single library, inside the “Disciplinary resources” section, you will find the indications, often grouped by disciplinary branch, to access links, databases, local resources, ebooks, e-journals.

If you use databases, always consult them Rules for the use of electronic resources of the University of Turinto find out what is possible and what not.
