InterLibrary Loans

SUM Humanites libraries organize the ILL InterLibrary Loan following the IFLA principles which encourage the sharing of resources and promote an unlimited information access (Norme IFLA) also in accordance with copyright rules.

Users

For their institutional members our libraries can borrow books from other national and international libraries. The reader must refund the requested amount and is responsible for the received material, taking care and returning it in due time (if the material can be consulted at home).

The delivery times, the possibility to consult internally or externally, the loan period and the typology of the material (original , analogic or digital copy) depend on the lending library regulations. External users have also access to this service and the requested material can be consulted in the library.

To apply a specific request please consult the single libraries sections: the library chosen for the request will be the location to collect the material.
